Common Sync Problems
Sync Not Starting
Symptoms:
- Sync remains in "pending" state
- No records syncing
Causes:
- NetSuite connection issue
- Invalid credentials
- SuiteBundle not active
Resolution:
- Test NetSuite connection
- Verify TBA credentials
- Check SuiteBundle status in NetSuite
Sync Failing Mid-Process
Symptoms:
- Sync starts but fails
- Partial data synced
Causes:
- NetSuite timeout
- Permission error on specific records
- Data validation error
Resolution:
- Check sync logs for specific error
- Reduce batch size
- Review record-level errors
Records Not Appearing
Symptoms:
- Sync completes but records missing
- Expected data not visible
Causes:
- Record type not enabled
- Field mapping issue
- Filter excluding records
Resolution:
- Verify record type is enabled
- Check sync configuration
- Review any active filters
Slow Sync Performance
Symptoms:
- Sync takes much longer than expected
- Timeouts
Causes:
- Large data volume
- Complex saved search
- Network issues
Resolution:
- Use incremental sync
- Optimize saved search
- Contact support for large syncs
Prevention
- Monitor sync health regularly
- Set up failure alerts
- Use appropriate schedules
