Common NetSuite Errors

Invalid Login Attempt

Symptoms:

  • Sync fails immediately
  • Authentication error in logs

Causes:

  • TBA credentials invalid
  • Token expired or revoked
  • Account ID incorrect

Resolution:

  1. Verify Account ID format
  2. Check Consumer Key/Secret
  3. Check Token ID/Secret
  4. Regenerate tokens if needed

Permission Denied

Symptoms:

  • Sync fails with permission error
  • Specific records not syncing

Causes:

  • Integration role missing permissions
  • Record-level restrictions
  • Script restrictions

Resolution:

  1. Review integration role permissions
  2. Add required permissions
  3. Check record-level access

Script Execution Error

Symptoms:

  • SuiteBundle error
  • RESTlet failure

Causes:

  • Script error in SuiteBundle
  • Custom script conflict
  • Account customization issue

Resolution:

  1. Check script logs in NetSuite
  2. Update SuiteBundle to latest version
  3. Review for customization conflicts
  4. Contact support

Timeout Errors

Symptoms:

  • Sync fails with timeout
  • Large syncs don't complete

Causes:

  • Too much data
  • Slow saved search
  • NetSuite governance limits

Resolution:

  1. Reduce batch size
  2. Optimize saved search
  3. Use incremental syncs
  4. Schedule during off-peak hours
