Overview

SuitePortal uses role-based access control (RBAC) to manage what users can see and do.

Users

A user represents an individual who can log in to SuitePortal.

User Properties

  • Email (unique identifier)
  • Name
  • Organization membership(s)
  • Role(s) within each organization

Roles

Roles define a set of permissions. Built-in roles include:

Permissions

Permissions control specific actions:

  • read:transactions — View transaction data
  • read:entities — View entity data
  • manage:users — Invite and manage users
  • manage:settings — Configure organization settings

Assignment

User → Organization → Role → Permissions

A user can have different roles in different organizations.
