Overview
SuitePortal supports multiple environments to match your NetSuite setup and development workflow.
Environment Types
Production
- Connected to NetSuite Production
- Live customer data
- Full billing applies
Sandbox
- Connected to NetSuite Sandbox
- Test data only
- Reduced/no billing (plan dependent)
Environment Isolation
Each environment is completely isolated:
- Separate databases
- Separate authentication
- Separate API endpoints
- Separate SuiteBundle instances
Best Practices
Development Workflow
NetSuite Sandbox → SuitePortal Sandbox → Test → Promote
NetSuite Production → SuitePortal Production → LiveSandbox Refresh
When refreshing your NetSuite Sandbox:
- Notify SuitePortal support
- Re-sync data after refresh
- Verify user access
